And Lacey Turner gushed about returning to just six months after welcoming her son Trilby with her husband Matt Kay on Thursday.
Speaking to Carol McGiffin on , Lacey said: ‘It’s like one big family so it’s so easy to slot back into your character.

Lacey had a relatively short maternity leave and was only away from the soap for six month to welcome her second child.
Speaking of keeping her bump concealed during filming, the actress said: ‘I was forever holding a washing basket or tea towel to hide the bump.
‘Stacey’s not very glamorous… she doesn’t hold a hand bag,’ she added of her down to earth character.
Lacey started working on EastEnders 17 years ago when she was just 16-years old and admitted to Carol that she made some errors during her first day on set.

Lacy revealed: ‘I had a market stall near the studio in Borehamwood and I remember thinking this is crazy. I used to see them [the EastEnders cast] driving though all the time.
‘I had a disaster on my first day because I had a monologue to make while eating a cheese sandwich, which I don’t like.
‘I opened a gate which wasn’t attached to anything too. I thought how am I gonna do this, I couldn’t even get the scene right.’
